RHINO-Ks FAQ
What are the costs for Rhino-Ks Baseball?
Instead of charging multiple lump sums like many programs, Rhino-Ks Baseball Training/Facility dues are split into 12 monthly payments (one recurring payment to Rhino, and one to K’s Academy) to make it easier for families to budget. Dues cover all training aspects including; offseason training (Winter Arm Care, Strength & Conditioning), facility, trainers, insurance, paid coaches for HS levels, etc. Uniform and tournament costs are a separate cost and vary depending on each team. |
What type of training do players receive with the dues?
Rhino-Ks players receive the following throughout the year:
|
Who will coach Rhino-Ks teams?
Our teams (15-17u) will have paid, professional, coaches. Majority of our coaches at these levels have either played professionally or collegiately and/or have coached at high school or college programs and levels in the past. Our primary coaching focus at these levels will be to engrain playing sound fundamentals while competing to win and remaining respectful of the game and our opponents. That being said, our staff will refuse to place a player in harm's way for the sake of a win.
Who instructs practices during the offseason?
All of our training practices are run by K’s instructors, who are widely recognized as some of the best in Central IL.

Do you offer speed, strength and agility?
All training that we do is part of the monthly dues, which does include speed, strength and agility.
We are firm believers that this part of training is critical in the development of players which is why it is a large part of our training regimen.
All of our strength, speed and agility sessions are run by K’s Strength Staff, whom all have degrees, certifications or a combo of both in the Kinesiology Field.
Our programs are designed such that we aim for long term development, versus chasing short term glory. The players who have a younger ‘training age’ will focus on quality movement patterns, base strength and proprioception. More advanced players will shift focus to more top end strength, mass and power development.
Does Rhino-Ks help with the college recruiting process?
YES!
Overall, we want players to take responsibility for their recruiting, but we will most certainly be there to guide both the players and parents in the process.
We look to educate players and their families on the college recruiting cycle and hold recruiting classroom sessions where families learn about the process.
Rhino Baseball and K’s Academy has hundreds of college connections throughout the country where we help connect those coaches with players that we feel are right fits.
We also help with recruiting videos when the time is right for players. To see an example of the videos we do please click HERE. Additionally, we will be partnering with one of the MidWest’s most dedicated recruiting assistant coaches, Ben Diggle of Diggle’s Diamonds.
As a program Rhino nearing 300 total college commitments since 2013, while Ks is120+ since 2014...but without having our own teams!...until now!
