REMOTE TRAINING
|
Don't live close enough to us to train in person? Not a problem! Coach Kauten trains several players every year that live far away. Ideally, a remote athlete comes for an evaluation, we develop the individualized program, walk him through the program from start to finish to ensure there are no questions before the athletes goes back home to execute the program. Routine check ins, video confirmation of exercise technique on the lifting side as well as the pitching side. If you're interested in training with us, email [email protected] with details on pricing as it varies depending on the needs of the athlete. Costs range from $30/month to $197/mo with different level options.

Ever heard a coach say... "His ball really jumps! Man he can really spin it! That thing moved a foot!" TrackMan lets you track what your eyes can’t see. Measure full ball trajectory and spin, including metrics such as Vertical Release Angle, Horizontal Movement, Plate Side and more — all with unmatched accuracy. We use this technology in conjunction with slow motion video and traditional coaching practices to help accelerate the learning curve (pun intended...you like that one?! Don't act like you didn't!). We then use the data to help improve pitches through pitch design and give recommendations on how to organize a pitcher's arsenal to maximize effectiveness vs hitters.

The college recruiting process can be overwhelming for both players and parents alike. How do I get coaches to see me? What are they looking for? How can I stand out in a crowded field? What's the difference between D1, D2, D3, Juco, NAIA, etc?
These are just some of the questions that can cause stress in the recruiting process. No worries! We can help! The best way to get recruited is to develop your athletic skills on the field (which we can help with!) and take care of business in the classroom (sorry...not much help here) and coaches will find you! Even then, it can be a confusing and stressful situation. Not only can we help the player and his family sort through the process, but we also develop an individualized game plan for each player. We help the player create a strategic plan to give himself the best chance to earn a spot at his school of choice. Additionally, Coach Kauten and Razo have a vast network in the Collegiate coaching realm and leverage our networks the aid in the process behind the scenes. We partner with Elite Level Prospects to create an individualized profile that coaches can view for free so the player can send out to prospective schools, the player can modify/update the profile with academic and contact info as well as new footage. Arm Health Evaluations

Every athlete is unique. They all move differently, so why should they all be doing the same program/exercises? This is the foundational principle of our Winter Arm Care program and this evaluation is included as a part of this program. However, if you're unable to participate in the program, this total body screening of the athlete helps identify areas of concern whether it be an issue with mobility, stability, strength, motor patterning, et al. We then help the athlete build their program according to their specific needs. Coach Kauten is a CSCS, CFSC and On Base U certified Coach with his BS in Exercise Science with an emphasis on Biomechanics.
